She is survived by: her parent Madlyn Dowdell Gastinger; her siblings, Tina Shimo (James), Robert Gastinger (Kathy), Avondale, Michael Gastinger (Daria) and Jermyn; her sister-in-law Ann Marie Gastinger of Bethlehem; and her nieces and nephews, Genie, Matthew, William, Molly, Amy, Jessica, Caron and Mary.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Janice M. Gastinger's name be made to either one of two organizations, the American Lung Association and American Diabetes Association.
