Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elaine Gombka Janus of Dickson City, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 87, on November 18, 2024. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter J. Janus; and her parents, Frank Gombka and Emma Paulishak Gombka. She is survived by: her children, Walter M. Janus (Bonnie) and Ellen Zelek (Don); her grandchildren, Chase Janus (Becca), Spencer Janus and Brianna Zelek; her great grandchildren, Luca and Claire; and her sister-in-law Joann Reed. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank T Mazur Funeral Home (601 Dundaff St, Dickson City, PA 18519). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 6:30 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Adalbert's Polish National Church (515 Mary St, Dickson City, PA 18519). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Adalbert's PNC Cemetery (823-775 Pancoast St, Dickson City, PA 18519).
