She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Luke and Lillian Irene Auker (Gray); her husband Richard D. Thomas, Sr.; her siblings, Dorothy, Virginia Albertson and Wilbur Auker; and her granddaughter Heather Hockenbrock.
She is survived by: her children, Richard D. Thomas, Jr. of Montgomery, Susan Thomas of Watsontown and Timothy Thomas of Allenwood; and her sister Vera Young of Watsontown. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Ruth's memory be made to the Montgomery Public Library, 1 S. Main St. Montgomery, PA 17752.
