He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cappelli and Philomena Cappelli; his son David; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his children, Debbie McLaughlin (John), Donna Malone, John Cappelli III, Stephen Cappelli (Alycia) and Brian Cappelli; his grandchildren, Mike, Laura, Greg, Sam, Jackie, Allison, Nicole and Joey; his great grandchildren, Carter, Kinsley, Tyler, Kayden, Courtney, Lila and Ruby; his siblings, Vincent Cappelli (Christine) and Regina Cappelli; and his former wife Fran Cappelli.
