He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael T. Levay and Matilda Levay (Krowicki); his former wife Sue Anne Levay (Serena); his son Michael B. Levay; and his brother Casimir Levay (Shirley).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shomo Levay (Cowan) of Derry; his son Raymond T. "R. T."; his sisters, Sandra DeRoss of Latrobe and Wanda Demangone (Dennis) of Kiawah Island, SC; his grandchildren, Joseph Levay (Stacy), Rachael Levay, Elizabeth Stahl (Jason), Megan Levay and Ray Tom Levay Jr.; his great grandchildren, Lucy, Levi and Caroline; his stepchildren, Thomas Shomo (Terri) of Derry, Janet Campbell (John) of North Huntingdon and James Shomo (Sandra) of Maryland; and his pet Neo. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
