He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burk and Cora Shaw Burk; his wife Joyce Miller Burk; and his siblings, Robert, Joseph, Charles, Dennis Burk, Elizabeth Altman and Elby Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth J. Burk, Jr. (Beatrice) of United and Debbie McGaughey (John) of Mercer; his grandchildren, Jason Krause, Jamie Heckman (Dan), Amy Ferry (Dan), Kelly Burk, Jessica Burk, Eric Holzer (Megan Bellush) and Gregory Holzer; and his sister-in-law Barbara Burk of Greensburg. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Westmoreland County Blind Association.
