In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Walkinshaw and Ida Erwin Walkinshaw; and his brother Robert Walkinshaw. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wayda Walkinshaw; his son Brad Walkinshaw; and his sisters-in-law, Roseann Walkinshaw, Donna Popelish (John) and Debbie Pezzoni (Mark). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (300 W 3rd Ave, Derry, PA 15627). Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Derry Presbyterian Church (108 Presby Way, Derry, PA 15627). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
