He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Lawson and Leoda M. Lawson (Hall). He is survived by: his sons, James J. Lawson of Latrobe and Sean D. Lawson of Latrobe; his brother Robert H. Lawson of Ligonier; and his close friend Jan Knechtel of Derry.
