He was predeceased by : his parents, Mike J. Androstic and Catherine M. Androstic (Dropchak). He is survived by : his wife Patricia L. Androstic (Reeping) of Derry; his children, Janice Wisneski (Jerome), Sharon Ament (Fred) of Derry and James M. Androstic Jr. (Melonie) of Scottdale, PA; his grandchildren, Lyndsey Desko (Jake), Michael Ament (Ashley), Jerome Wisneski (Jay), James Androstic III (Justin), Mark Ament, Zachary Wisneski (Rachel), Lauren James (David), Marissa Phillippi (Micky) and Leah Androstic; his great grandchildren, Anslee, Ayla, Westin, Myla, Sloan, Kaeden and Maevlyn; and his sisters, Marie Ream (Cloyd) of Greensburg and Evelyn Friedline (Gary) of New Alexandria. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose Church (4969 PA-982, Latrobe, PA 15650).
