He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Lang Sr. and Sandy Lewis; his daughters, Rachel Miller and Samantha Lang; his brothers, John and Michael Lang; his stepbrother Tommy Lewis; and his sister Darlene Starry.
He is survived by: his close friend Veronica Simms; his children, James Lang III, Cassandra Lang of New York, Jessica Ward and April Simms; his siblings, Jerry Lang (Amy) of Derry, Karen Walton (Craig) of Millwood and Janet Stockdill (Joe) of New Jersey; and his granddaughters, Lexi (Johnna Malletz), Sara, Deanna and Chelsea Ward (Emma Rose McCune). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
