He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Willis H. and Jessie Schimpf (Purdy). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Schimpf (Uschak); and his siblings, Robert Schimpf (Janet) of Montesano, WA and Nancy Stout (Fred) of Spring Branch, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
