He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Heacox and Lucinda Taylor Heacox. He is survived by: his wife Judith Stiffler Heacox; his sons, J. Thomas of Derry, Bryan Heacox (Laura) of Derry and Ross Alan Heacox (Tina) of Summerville; his sister Joyce Leandra Robbins of Carlisle; and his grandsons, Cody, Shawn, Kristopher and Derek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Derry Volunteer Fire Department at 116 E 2nd Ave in Derry.
