She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Hamill and Alice Yonker Hamill; her daughter Barbara R. Sylvester; her husband Bernard "Buzz" Sylvester; and her siblings, Paul, Helen Bailey, John, Joe, George, Alice Connor and Jane Sauers.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hoover (Jeff) of Winston Salem, NC and Bernard "Bernie" Sylvester (Barb) of Lancaster, PA.; her grandsons, Nathan Campbell, Noah Campbell (Kristen), Jeremiah Campbell (Liz) and Ben Sylvester; her great grandchildren, Tate, Max, Bennett, Titan and Isabella; her stepgrandchildren, Christie Alfred (Nick) and Courtney Guido (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Carter, Kennedy Alfred, Lily and Lucas Guido.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (300 W 3rd Ave, Derry, PA 15627). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
