He is survived by: his sister Maxine Joe of New Derry; his aunt Dottie Fannie; his sons, Gene Fannie, Jr. (Hope) and Mark Fannie (Sandy); his grandchildren, Alexis Springer (John), Mario Fannie, Anthony Fannie, Faith Fannie and Charity Fannie; and his pets, Finn, Graham and Bella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
