He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Byers and Irene Stemmler Byers; his wife Betty Henderson Byers; his brothers, Joseph S. and James C. Byers; his grandson Trey Skiff; and his son-in-law Stephen J. Cinibulk.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Skiff (Rod) of Spartinsburg, Patrick E. Byers (JoAnne) of Derry, Donna Cinibulk (Denny) of Loyalhanna and Michael A. Byers (Heidi) of Hillside; his grandchildren, Allison Skiff, Hailey, Cassie Byers, Lori Tedesco (Travis), Timothy Martin (Laura) and Arthur Martin Jr. (Sue); his great grandchildren, Zia Tedesco, Kyle, Kellie Jo and Ryleigh Martin; and his nephew Wayne Henderson (Dale) of Boise. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (300 W 3rd Ave, Derry, PA 15627). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
