He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lape and Edna Lape (Menzie); his brothers, Robert Lape, Dean Lape and Russell Lape Jr.; his mother-in-law Louise A. Derry; his siblings-in-law, Roy Dunlap and Rhonda Derry; his close friend Joe Vachal; and his pet Bella.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Lape (Derry); his daughter Kimberly DeCario (Vince) of New Derry; his grandchildren, Rocco, Aviana, Livia and Vincenzo; his sister Lois Dunlap; his siblings-in-law, Susie Androstic, Anita Balik (Rick) and Ricky Derry; and his nephew Danny Dunlap Jr.. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and friends.
