She was predeceased by: her parent Robert Steeves; her husband Thomas Hill; her son William Hill; and her siblings, Richard Steeves, Robert Steeves, David Steeves, Fred Steeves, Ethel Steeves and Viola Trinder.
She is survived by: her parent Katie Bell Bracken; her children, Thomas R. Hill (Linda) of Pittsburgh and Verna K.; her husband Daniel Sackandy of Latrobe; her grandchildren, Danielle Sackandy Lauer (Brad) and Michael Sackandy; her great grandchildren, Jude Lauer and Anna Lauer; and her siblings, Edward Steeves, William "Butch" Steeves, Rosella Squibb of Derry and Sylvia Hill (Jake) of Blacklick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
