She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Kuchta and Mary Kuchta (Polyiosky); her husband Eugene J. "Gene" Smolleck; her sister Mary Jane Kuchta; her sister-in-law Linda Kuchta; her nieces, Bridgette Mitchell and Debra Olecki; and her nephew Jeffrey Campbell.
She is survived by: her daughter Tracy L. Murphy (Christopher) of Manning, SC; her brother Richard Kuchta of Fort Pierce, FL; her grandchildren, Leah E. Filyaw, Caleb, Brandon E, Uncapher and Jeffrey T. Murphy; her great grandchildren, Kinley, Luke, Kenna, Josie and Bexley; her cousin Donna Campbell; and her close friends, Kathy Ruffner, Janet Phillippi, Mary Alice Hoffer, Carol and John Allman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matthew X Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. (529 N Chestnut St, Derry, PA 15627). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
