He is survived by: his wife Linda Platt Konecny; his daughter Kelly Russell of Latrobe; his granddaughters, Autumn Russell and Tara Konecny (Sam Nowicki); his niece Karen Brown; his siblings, Regina Mears of Latrobe and Jack Konecny (Diane) of Ohio; and his sister-in-law Geneann Konecny of Latrobe.
