He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Burkhart and Ruth Burkhart (Good); and his sister Betty Jane Rolland. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Burkhart (Zajac); his son Seth S. Burkhart (Holly) of Reinholds; his stepson Jason Emerich (Lauren) of Wernersville; and his siblings, Shirley Weaver (Paul) of Ephrata and John G. Burkhart (Ann) of Pine Grove. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren.
