It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter P. Sweigart of Denver, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Sweigart and Vera Sweigart (Walters); his son Timothy Sheaffer; and his siblings, Norma and Rodney.
He is survived by: his wife Edith L. Sweigart (Miller); his daughter Deb; and his son-in-law Randy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a sister and 3 brothers.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home (533 Walnut St, Denver, PA 17517). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
