He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rutter and Arlene Haller (Beck); his wife Margaret T. Rutter (Windish); his stepfather Richard Haller; his son Gary Rutter; and his sister Shirley Brumbach.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Rutter, David Rutter (Deb), Jody Royer (Brian), Lori Lefever (Roy), Theresa Mentzer (Dan) and John Rutter; and his sister-in-law Elsie Becker (Robert). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
