He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer H. Trostle and Daisey Trostle (Showalter); his wife Maebelle A. Trostle (Collingwood); and his siblings, Richard S. Trostle, Katherine Groff and Dorothy Petery.
He is survived by: his son Dennis J. Trostle of Denver; and his brothers, Eugene S. Trostle of Reinholds and Larry S. (Mary Trostle) of Denver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
