She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell and Ethel Hirst Fredrick (Supper); her husband Kenneth Luke Shirk; her stepmother Rosanna Fredrick; and her son-in-law Richard Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leona A. (Nelson Good) of Lancaster and Cynthia K. (Nelson Horning) of Denver. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
