He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Smith and Elizabeth Smith of Coal Center; his brother John; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Olga Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith (Bennett); his siblings, Mary Braddock (late Vaughn) of West Brownsville, Elmer Smith (Megan) of Perryopolis, Jerry Smith (late Sandy) of Blainesburg, Nancy Konsugar (late Jeff) of Rostraver and Ed Smith (Jill) of Missouri; and his brother-in-law Frank "Butch" Bennett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and all the children.
