He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Staton and Edith Staton (Gribble); his wife Carole Staton (Rocky); and his children, Scott Staton and Christine Jankowski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah DeAugustine (Lou) of Pittsburgh, PA and Dodie Strong (Phil Miceli, Sr.) of Rosedale, MD.; his grandchildren, Jessica Robles (Kevin), Nicholas Jankowski, Matthew Jankowski and Dominic Strong; and his brother Ralph Staton.
