He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Findley and Irma Findley; the mother of his children Joyce Stewart Findley; his former wife Betty Heizer Findley; and his son John Findley.

He is survived by: his children, Bobbie Carr of Winfield, Walter "Skip" Findley, Jr. (Edith), Mary (Jeff Kidd) and Winifred "Winnie" Findley of Street, Maryland.; his grandchildren, Walter "Skipper" Findley, III, Michael Findley and Shannon Welford; his great grandchildren, Alexis Findley, Summer Welford and Autumn Welford; and his wife Joyce.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harkins Funeral Home, Inc. (600 Main St, Delta, PA 17314). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Emory Cemetery (911 Cherry Hill Rd, Street, MD 21154). A burial will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery (911 Cherry Hill Rd, Street, MD 21154).
