He is survived by: his friend Myrtle Workman; his sons, Richard Thomas Coen, Jr. (Camilla) of Norfolk, VA, Christopher Stewart Coen (Kerry) of Norfolk, VA and Robert Arthur Coen of North Carolina; his stepson Stephen Lee Brown (Denise); his siblings, Joyce Coen Risley of Bethany, IL, Frances E. Coen Watts Kramer of Decatur, IL and Everett A. Coen (Twyla) of Ladson, SC.; and also Teresa Yvonne Brown Williams (Fred) of Kenansville, NC.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
