She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert N. Hess and Lucy Marie Hess; her husband John W. Grier; and her son David. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Louise Grier Standiford; her grandson Samuel Standiford (Lara); her great grandchild Rylan; and her granddaughter Hannah Marie Farmer (Chris Farmer).
