She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Petterson and Elizabeth Petterson (Knoll); her husband Robert Barkemeyer; her daughter Susan Nasri; and her sister Carole E. Ferri.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Barkemeyer (Michelle); her grandchildren, Michael, Amy and Leigh Anne; her great grandchildren, Colina, Layna and Knox; and her brother Dr. Kurt Petterson (Wilma). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
