It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. McElwain of Delmont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John McElwain; and his sisters, Mary Lou Fogle, Ruth Cuffman and Dorothy Jane McElwain. He is survived by: his wife Rose McElwain (Butina); his children, Susan Miller (Brian), John McElwain, III (Helen), Timothy McElwain and Thomas McElwain; his grandchildren, Dan, Kelly, David, John and Kylie; and his siblings, Janet McElwain, Lois Gault and Harry McElwain. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
