He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Gary and Nora Hostetler Gary; and his sister Ruth E. Kalp. He is survived by: his wife Mardelle Sleasman Gary; his children, David Gary (Maryjane) of Stoystown and Donna Leaper (Bob) of Acme; his grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Sloan (Shawn) of Latrobe, Jennifer Fritizus (Bill) of Uniontown and Brad Gary (Morgan); his siblings, Rose Marie Queer (James) of Ligonier and Richard Geary of Arizona; and his brother-in-law Robert Kalp of Donegal. He is also survived by his several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mark C. Brooks Funeral Home Inc. (146 Municipal Bldg Rd, Melcroft, PA 15462). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mark C. Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (146 Municipal Bldg Rd, Melcroft, PA 15462).
