He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick Connors and Margaret "Peg" Connors (Weiss); his former wife Janet Mae Connors (Connors); his wife Donna Rae Connors (Thackeray); and his siblings, John, Bill, Robert Connors, Mary Ellen Farrell and Betty Connelly.

He is survived by: his children, Charles J. Connors, Jr. (Natalie) of Irwin, Michael S. Connors of Red Lion, PA, Colleen M. Gribbin (Bill) of Murrysville, Christine L. Tragesser (Chuck) of Murrysville and Cathleen C. White (David) of Murrysville; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Joseph Gribbin, Chuckie, Caroline, Carly Tragesser, John, Katie White and Charles J. Connors III; his stepson Norman Connors (Marianna) of Natrona Heights; and his close friend Donna Roscia of Altoona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a number of friends.
