He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mesanko, (Pluchinsky) and George A. Mesanko, Sr.; his daughter Catherine Ann Himes; and his siblings, George A. Mesanko, Jr., Dolores Poy, Catherine Ann Mesanko and Mary Jane Holeva.
He is survived by: his children, Colleen Moore (Adam) of Clearfield, Joseph Mesanko, Jr. (Patricia) of Adrian and Thomas Mesanko (Michelle) of Desire; his close friend Eizetta Mesanko; and his son-in-law Mark Himes. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
