With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Solley of Dayton, Pennsylvania, born in Rossiter, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney W. Barrett and Sadie E. Barrett (Peterson); her husband John Earl "June" Solley; her daughter Joyce A. Bustamante; and her siblings, Clayton Barrett, Wilford Barrett, Eugene Barrett, Delbert Barrett and Ella Mae Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald E. Solley of Frederick, MD, Kenneth E. Solley (Tammy) of Dayton, PA, Rose M. Childers, Donna M. Toldi (Gerald) of Indiana, PA and Lois J. Syrotynski (John) of Carson City, NV; and her sister Betty Solley of Punxsutawney, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
