He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schrecengost and Marie Schrecengost (Zimmerman); and his brother Eugene "Gundy" Schrecengost. He is survived by: his wife Jill C. Schrecengost (Wells) of Sugar Creek; his children, Tim Schrecengost (Ruthie) of Kittanning, Terry Schrecengost of Milford, Linda Smith (Jim) of Ford City and Lenae Lasher (John) of Templeton; his grandchildren, Nicole Prisk (Chris), Crystal Edinger (Josh), John Lasher, Jr. (Laura), Jenny Atwood (Charlie), Adam Lasher (Ashley), Brandi Rankin, Eric Schrecengost, Alex and Tyler Schrecengost; and his brother Roland Schrecengost of Rural Valley, PA..
