We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020, at the age of 87, Windel R. Hayes (Dawson, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hayes and Elizabeth Hayes (Conn); his former wife Mardel; and his siblings, Ernest, Earl, Althea, Marguerite and Janet.

He is survived by: his wife Jan Hayes; his children, Patricia (Robert Acklin), Windel Hayes Jr. (Darlene), Peggy (Donald Dye), Gary Hayes (Marcia), Lon Hayes (Christine) and Christopher Hayes (Marla); his stepchildren, Scott and Paula Mason; his grandchildren, Robb Acklin, Donald Dye, Danielle Anderson, Nicole McMasters, Shawn Hayes, Nathaniel Hayes, Stephanie Hayes, Justin Hayes, Trevor Hayes, Leah Hayes, Hayley Hayes, Trent Hayes and Tanner Hayes; and his great grandchildren, Meadow and Summer Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
