She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jay McKnight and Clara Belle "Keffer" McKnight; her son Theodore Gary Mellinger Jr.; her husband Theodore Garrett Mellinger Sr.; and her siblings, Charles "Juanita" McKnight, Thomas "Ruth" McKinght, Jesse "Edna" McKnight, Beatrice Forsythe (Ira), Pearl Sherman (Alvie) and Ruby Livingston (Glen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Carocci (Robert) of Dawson and Pamela Philburn (Leslie) of Dawson; her grandchildren, Lori Stickle (Chris), Connie LaPorte (Doug), Kimberly Boyd, Robert Carocci (Margie), Leslie Philburn (Marybeth), Jeffrey Philburn and Gregory Philburn (Kristy); and her sister Alma Antonini of Dawson.
