It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie B. Hone of Dawson, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Etling of Washington and Suzanna Etling (Rimel); her husband Frank Hone Jr.; her siblings, Glenn, Ida, Philip, Albert Etling, Mary Ramsier, Nancy Pitts, Luneta Lape, Jennie Isabell Clark and Naomi Cossell; and her aunts, Betty Ferry and Margaret Cable.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Shaffer (Dale), Frank B. Hone (Josephine Halfhill) and Jeffrey Hone; her grandchildren, Tammy Nickelson (Shane), Jodi Lindsay (Kevin), Emily McBeth (Thomas) and Robert Hone; her great grandchildren, Shelby Greenlee (Christofer "Robbie), Morgan Shipley (Matthew Gross), Haley Nickelson (Neil Rozak), Skylar Hone and Robert Hone Jr.; her great great grandchildren, Christofer Eli Greenlee and Vienna Rose Greenlee; and her siblings, William Etling, Hazel Loretta Newell, Margaret Winemiller, Anna Mae Holland (James) and Sandra Ribnisky (George).
