She was predeceased by: her parents, George Christopher and Anastasia Herrington (Smith); and her siblings, George Herrington Jr. and Anna Mae Hixson. She is survived by: her sons, Karl Burkhart Jr. (Melanie), David Burkhart (Patricia) and Timothy Burkhart (Michele); her grandchildren, Jennifer Morrow (Justin), Jaime Martin (Geof), Andrew Burkhart, Nicolas Burkhart and Rachel Burkhart; her great grandchildren, Justin Morrow (Addison), Joel Morrow, Rebekah, Samuel and Grayson Martin; her great great grandchildren, Jaxen and Aycen Morrow; her sister Eleanor Hyatt of Mount Pleasant; and her sisters-in-law, Joann Burkhart of Scottdale and Patty Baird of Mineral Ridge, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Evangelical Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 1645 W 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
