He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Philburn and Margaret Philburn (Stewart); his brother Patrick David Philburn (Dave); his sister-in-law Janet Philburn; his parents-in-law, Gary and Trellis Mellinger; his brother-in-law Gary Mellinger Jr.; and his nephew Stephen E. Philburn.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela R. Philburn (Mellinger); his son Leslie Philburn (Mary Beth); his grandchildren, Garrett and Chase; his son Jeffrey S. Philburn (Krista Reckart); his grandchildren, Payton and Paislee; his son Gregory S. Philburn (Kristy); his grandchildren, Madison, Emma and Greyson; his siblings, James Geary (Barb), Stephen Philburn (Chris), Richard Philburn (Toni) and Debra Hay; his sister-in-law Janice (Robert); and his close friend Lynn Capan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
