She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul R. and Mary J. Berkey (Smay); her husband Galen M. "Smokie" Kaufman; her daughter Kathy Bailie; her grandson Sawyer Ritter; her brother Lowman Berkey; and her son-in-law Keith Ritter.
She is survived by: her children, Tammie Ritter of Sterling, VA and David Kaufman (Melissa) of Jackson, WY; and her grandsons, Carson Kaufman, Eli Kaufman (Elvvis) and Daniel Kaufman. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
