He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Arnold and Minerva Jane Arnold (Brant); and his siblings, Charles, George Arnold, Nellie Rinick Margaret Brown, Catherine Claycomb, Mary Shaulis and Thelma Martell.

He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Elaine Stern; his children, Connie Walters of Friedens, Debra Younkin of Somerset, Beverly Arnold-Rodkey of Johnstown and William Arnold of Somerset; his grandchildren, Holly Morgan, Meagan Walters, Dylan, Bryce Younkin, Adam, Alycia Rodkey, Janna and Morgan Arnold; and his great grandchild Cullen Morgan.
