Luther Sprowls Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2020, at the age of 96, Luther Sprowls (Davidsville, Pennsylvania), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Sprowls and Mary Bess Sprowls (McNary); his siblings, Albert, Alfred Sprowls, W. Scott Sprowls (Dorothy) and Mary Ellen Rice (Albert); and his sisters-in-law, Margaret (George Gardner), Florence (Jack Weyandt) and Mary Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Emily J. Sprowls (Von Moose); his children, David V, Joni L. (Mark Bloom), James K. (Linda) and Virginia Beach; his grandsons, Matthew Bloom and Adam Bloom (Alexandra); and his great grandchildren, Rhys, Henning and Imogen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to pandemic a memorial service with family and friends to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville or Laurel View Village Caring Fund or Windber Hospice.
