She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Stahl and Anna L. Stahl (Thomas); her daughter Janice Gail Lape; her daughter-in-law Carol Lape; and her siblings, Norma Bothwell and Marlin Stahl.

She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Lape; her sons, William Lape (Ruth), Jeffrey Lape (Sharon) and Kevin Lape (Rose); her grandchildren, Lauren McDade, Daniel Lape, Jonathan, Andrew Lape, Christopher, Austin and Steven Lape; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Ryker McDade and Aurore Lape; and her sister Alice Cobaugh. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
