Alvera DeRubis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvera DeRubis of Davidsville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse J. Shroyer and Mary Shroyer (Zanoni); her husband Geno DeRubis; and her siblings, Mona Shroyer, Arthur Brighenty, Jr. and Sandra Phillips (Shroyer).
She is survived by: her daughter Karen (John Czerak) of Westmont; her grandson Jacob Czerak; her siblings, Marie (Richard Kimmel) of Lambertsville and Jesse Shroyer (Pam); and her brothers-in-law, James DeRubis (Leni) of Colorado Springs, CO and Roy Phillips of Stoystown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
