He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna L. Kivler (Minnich) and William E. Kivler Sr.; his stepsisters, Freda and Elsie; and his wife Winifred E. Kivler (Koppenheffer).
He is survived by: his daughter Jodi A. Knapp (Carl) of Saylorsburg; his grandson Brandon C. Knapp (Legh Ann Knapp); his close friend Joan Kistler; and his great grandchildren, Gentry, Braxton and Rylan Knapp of Saylorsburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.
