He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stence and Sarah Stence (Brackbill); his brother Donald Brackbill; and his nephew Robert E. Reichard. He is survived by: his wife Laurie A. Stence (Wright); his sons, Monte L. Stence (Stacy) of Dauphin, Derek E. Stence of Dauphin and William D. Stence, II of Dauphin; and his siblings, Edward G. Stence of Linglestown and Eileen Reichard of Mechanicsburg. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, a great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
