He was predeceased by: his parents, John Finley and Mary Grubb Finley Weaver; his daughters, Carol and Susan Finley; his granddaughter Kelly Moore; and his siblings, John Finley and Katherine Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Laureen Magee Finley; his sons, Richard Finley Jr. (Beverly) and Robert Finley (Alice); and his brother Warren Weaver. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
