Hillen of Darlington, Pennsylvania, born in Masontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bates and Anna Mae Balsinger Bates. She is survived by: her husband Simon "Tim" W. Hillen; her children, Rhonda Stewart (John) of Georgetown, PA, Patricia Martin (Blaine) of Soldonta, AL, Lisa Eddy of Waynesburg, PA, C. Sue Hillen-Jones (George) of Moon Twp and John Hillen (Laurie) of Hanover Twp; her siblings, Dorothy Bates, Gladys Stoner, Mildred Matusky, William Bates, David Bates, Charles Bates and Edward Bates; and her son-in-law Lawrence Eddy. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, several Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
